Canvas Tea Party!

Hi Folks

I wanted to show you an altered canvas I made for one of my Design Objectives samples for the current promotion.
I dry brushed the canvas board with a couple of shades of pink acrylic paint and then dabbed through sequin waste with white paint for interest. The teacups and cupcakes (from the Lucy Cromwell Collection) were stamped onto tissue paper and coloured with brush markers. After cutting out, the images were applied to the board using Matt Medium - this adheres the tissue to the canvas and it seems to disappear and looks like it has been painted on directly. A little bit of stamping and embossing finishes the canvas off nicely!

Molly Blooms Card

Hi my fellow Bloggers

Hope you've all had a great Jubilee weekend. I spent a couple of days at St Albans at WOW Towers and then today I had a demo at Hobbycraft Cheltenham for their Jubilee Week event. I now need a holiday!

Anyhow I wanted to share a card I've made using a Molly Blooms stamp that's been hanging around for a while.

The papers are from the Cosmo Cricket 'Tea for Two' paper pack and the hearts and label are die-cut using Spellbinders dies - all available from Stampeezee.

There is a 25% Mid-Season Sale starting over on the Stampeezee site on the 6th June for one week - worth a look if you get a minute.

Well must be off now.

Thanks for stopping by.

New DO Sample Cards

Hi there

Thought I'd share with you a couple of the samples I've made using the new May/June DO Crafts products to take to demo's with me.

This is Wellington - a proper Teddy Bear not a cute one - I love him! I used a tall stepper card, a die cut topper and tag and a couple of die cut stars to embellish.

Here he is again, this time decoupaged on top of a decorated Bare Basics box.

This is one of the new Michael Powell stamps watercoloured using crayons and popped onto a shaped easel card - nice soft colours.

Well that's all for now.

Sunny Layout!

Hi Folks
Not sure where the time goes to anymore. I don't seem to be able to find the time to fit everything in and my blog is suffering for it. I'll try to post as often as I can, but please forgive me if it's a little sporadic!
Anyhow, this post is to show you what I made for the WOW Embossing Powders DT Challenge this month. The theme was 'Male' using the Earthtone pallet of colours. I took this picture on the Isle of Wight at Easter and I needed to scrap it! Not often I get a good photo my 'boys' together (and smiling!).

Instructions and items used are all on the WOW Blog so pop over and get inspired by all the other lovely DT makes!

More Flakes!

Hi Bloggers

Well here I am again, back from Newcastle (what a long day) and all ready to play. I had a great time showing the Indigo Blu stamps, Flitter Glu and Mega Flakes. I now have a favourite - Yorkshire Dales; green tones - quite subtle. Hopefully I'll be demoing these again at some more shows. I've quite a lot on at the moment, my DT project for WOW Powders needs creating, some more samples for the shop's gallery need to be made and a load of new stock needs adding to the Stampeezee site, (I'd moan if I wasn't busy!).

Without further ado here is the card I made with the Ella Bella image I stamped and guilded last week:

I used Distress Inks for the backgrounds (stenciled through some sequin waste for the dots).

What a shine!

A pretty, girly card - not the grungy style I usually end up with.

Well, must be off.
