Just a quick post to show this card, a workshop using shrink plastic I'm running on Wed 29th Sept at Stampeezee in Coventry. Coloured the butterflies using Sakura Stardust pens, gives a lovely finish, especially when shrunk.

This one is using a resist technique - workshop on 20th October at Stampeezee - I have used Dream Tree from Unity Stamps; a lovely stamp to work with and very versatile.

I had to upload this - had a go at the faux porcelain flowers as featured in Craft Stamper. I think they turned out really well. I don't have a melt pot so used a foil cake case; probably took a little longer as I had to keep re-heating the embossing powder but I think the end result was worth it!

Finally, just thought I'd share this card - was asked to make a pretty card for a 40th so chose to use one of the Glitter Girls boards - fans always look so elegant.

Anyhow that's all for now.

This is a project for a workshop I'm taking on 25th September at Stampeezee in Coventry. Crackle paint, embossing and inking. Lovely!

Well, I've finally taken the plunge and become a blogger. I've looked at so many other peoples blogs over the past few months, reading their posts and checking out their fabulous art work that I decided it's time that I got out there and joined in.
I'll try to post regularly, adding samples if I think they're worthy and any techniques that I've used if I think they will be interesting to anyone who happens to pass through my page.
Well I'm going to preview this now and see if I can publish it - wish me luck!
