Workshops at Katies Krafts

Just to let you know that I am teaching two embossing techniques workshops at Katies Krafts in Cwmcarn, Wales this Saturday. We are making the Dress Forms that Marion Emberson was teaching at the NEC in March and also a technique Tag Book.

Hopefully we'll have full classes and lots of fun!

Fabric & Ribbon

Hi there

Here is a stepper card using a small piece one of the Fat Quarters from Docrafts. I did a little rough stitching around the edge before mounting it onto my card. I die-cut the flower from felt, added a die-cut vellum doily behind it and a pleated ribbon band across the front of the card. I have to say I'm really pleased with how this one turned out, really pretty.

Pretty Grunge?

Here is a very simple card I made for one of my samples a couple of months ago. I wanted to 'pretty up' the Chronology Range from Docrafts and so went for a blue theme with a big satin ribbon. I think it works rather well!

Wanted to share with you a layout I made using the new All Aboard range from Docrafts.
As I traveled a bit when I was younger this range of goodies is perfect for scrapping my memories and I can see a few more pages on the horizon!

Playing with Colour

Just a quick post to show you my project for the WOW Challenge this month.
The theme is Recycle or Alter and I chose to make a Tag Book using cardboard toilet roll tubes and off-cuts of mountboard.
